What is a short film? A short film is any motion picture not long enough to be considered a feature film. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences defines a short film as "an original motion picture that has a running time of 40 minutes or less   Difference between a feature film and a short film: One of the main differences between a short film and a featured film is that a short film, is shorter in duration time compared to a feature length film. A short film has less cast and crew members than a feature length film would have.  Short films are not as complex most of the time there is little character development . Short films have a much smaller budget than feature length films, which means that they are unable to do the amount of things that a feature film would be able to do and include. Short films are generally produced and distributed by less established media institutions. Short films usually are produced at lower quality....

Introduction I have to make short film of the duration of 5 minutes that will  apply knowledge and understanding of the short film and its distinctive narrative form in relation to the production  as well as highlighting our understanding of the micro elements in Film. Criteria Apply the knowlegde and understadning of micro elements of film form. How narrative conveys point of view. Needs to be British or at least show british elemnets of a short film. Convey certain messages or connote a certain theme. Be able to write an evaulation on the work.
