Act One: The Setup At the beginning of the short film the main character will be established with a shot of him in an alleyway then him walking out and he slowly starts to fade away. Then goes to a flash back to how he gets there. Starts with him coming out of his house and him going to school but he is getting bullied shots of him getting pushed around before school and when in school bullies throwing his books . Until he has enough one day after school h when he tries to run away from the bullies but gets hit by a car Act two: The point of No return He gets hit by car but at first he does not realise he is dead because his soul has left his body so he runs home but he cannot open the door because he is a ghost so gives up and decides to wonder to park. Scene where he is siting on swing we see two vies one from him on swing seeing people pass but they only see has swing swaying in wind. Shots of time just going bye and how nothing has changed Act Three...
The reason I picked these locations is because they are in the area so if I need to do re-takes I can do it the same day and then edit on the next.The locations are Romford, Chadwell Heath high road, Barely Lane and Goodmayes park.
Tight Jeans The use of performance in Tight Jeans is used to connote the characters personalities to audience to help them identify to one of the characters which makes the short film move engaging. Ellington Kid The first scene in The Ellington Kid is an extreme close up of a knife being sharpened which instanly connotes to the audience that violence will be in the short film. Operator The use of silence when the woman goes upstairs to get her child creates an atmosphere of suspense. Also the close up on the operators face emphasises how climactic the situation is.
